Julia Deville

Here is some work by Julia DeVille, she is a taxidermist, artist and jeweller. All her designs are life based and personally, although I'm willing to bet some of you won't agree with me, I think they are incredible. She makes taxidermy current and whilst it is dark in tone, the animals are handled in such an elegant way that I think that they become extremely non threatening, the fact that they embellish work in such a way is something I find the opposite of the musty and the gross we have have come to expect from taxidermy.
